Connie passed away while living in Portland Oregon. She was killed in a auto accident shortly after graduating from sectetary school. Her passing was very sudden and unexpected. Connie and I grew up together riding our horses and her death was a great shock to me. Her mother,Marie Nielsen Hoff, and my mom, Marjorie Dean Lauerman, grew up as best friends so both families spent alot of time together as young families. Nina Lauerman
Connie, I remember a city of Redding parks and recreation event that we had both signed up for. It was a bus that would take kids wanting to snow ski up to Mount Shasta for the day. I believe it was in our freshman year. You were the life of the trip. You made my cousin and I laugh from the beginning to the end of the trip. Even though it was only briefly I am glad we met.
