So sorry to here about Danny. I always admired his athletic ability. He used to beat me so bad at badminton that by the end of a set, I was completely exhausted and Dan would just laugh and never breathed hard. He slaughtered me! Well God Bless and I hope to play badminton with Danny again in heaven.
Sincerely,
Isaac Ortiz

Though Dan lately kinda kept to himself, and its been several years since I last saw him, over the long haul he was one of my best friends.  Starting about the seventh grade at Sequoia through the 70's and slowly tapering off somewhat, we spent many hours together.  At first it was all just absolute nonsense (lots of drinking) and other things that probably should have put us in front of a firing squad, but fortunately as time passed we started slowly coming to our senses, spending more time fishing and taking part in other more reasonable activities.  For a long time we were very close and our relationship seemed more like brothers than friends.  But most important of all, I'd like to say that I know Dan read all of Hal Lindsey's books and I'm sure he understood and believed (John 3:16), saved freely by grace through faith, not of works.  I feel strongly that Dan is one major person in my life that I'll be able to spend eternity with and I hope that there will be many more.  So long "Smiley," till we meet again.

Bob, as a fellow believer in Christ I am also very happy that Danny professed his trust in Christ before going home to be with the Lord.  Our hope is in Him.

I didn't spend much time with Danny. I do remember how he was always so fit, setting those pull-up and sit-up

records. Those things will be long forgotten, but the one thing that will count is his faith in Christ.
