Bill was a really nice guy in high school. He always was smiling and joking around making people laugh. I believe he died in a house fire not long after high school. He had a really sweet sister Kathy Nicol. I think see was a year older. I will always remember Bill's smiling face. Dan Wilson
I became friends with Bill Nicol in the 8th grade, and man did we get away with some s**t...! That summer we would spend all night wandering the Kutras and Garden tracts until dawn, then crashing until 3pm or later. Sometimes John Piatkin was the Third Musketeer. His older sister Kathy would sometimes come to my house with Bill and we would go swimming. Once my mom drove us up by Dunsmuir and dropped us off on the river for a few hours, where we hiked and explored like Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn. Bill seemed always upbeat and happy, and was fun to hang out with. It was a very sad loss when he passed.
