I had the opportunity to see Jerry from time to time, over the last 10 or so years. So I thought some of you would like me to share what I knew about him during that time. Years ago Jerry was kind of living in his camper van, and would come by the bait shop quite often, and we would visit alot. Then I believe, he had heart surgery and ended up being part of the Redding Medical Center lawsuit. He ended up getting a large settlement. Plus he got disibility, so he had a steady income. It was nice to see a smile on his face. He bought a new pickup, harley, and a boat. It was nice to see him in a better positon, though he was busier and I didn't see him as much. Once in a while he would stop by and buy a couple of beers on the way to his friends house. I would remind him of the class reunions, he would always think about it, but he never seemed to follow through. I'm not sure what he died from, but I knew he had several medical issues. I miss him stopping by, he had a unique sence of humor, it was always enjoyable visiting with him.
