Worked a few years for the forest service. Did a little college got a degree in fire science and emergency medical tech. Moved to Alaska in mid 70s. Retired from Alaska and moved to Oregon. Had a lot of fun hunting and fishing in Alaska. I still get out a lot here on the Oregon Idaho border. I spend some winters camping in Baja and get some great fishing in. I can't complain much about anything, I enjoy my hobbies primitive archery, native american studies and artifact reproduction, rock hounding, fishing etc.
So a bit of an update, I bought a house in Mexico and spend the entire winters there. I no longer own any property in the USA but get up to Redding in the summers to do maintenance on my mother in laws place. After the Carr fire I was talked into going back to work at the airport mixing fire retardant and loading airplanes. So currently I try to be in Redding for fire season and enjoy working with former hotshot people from the 70's and boy can we bullshit!

Does anybody remember the tunnel hatch in the back room of the library? Before it was locked.
