Dear Friends,
Bill, Hank, John and I are intending to do our annual Bizz Johnson bike ride on Sept 26. Leaving the Susanville parking lot (the start of the trail in Susanville) at 9am.
We are going to do it differently this year, we are going to ride out of Susanville for 15 miles, or so (a slight uphill grade), then turn around and return to Susanville (downhill!). We want to avoid all the hassle and time of moving cars and bikes that a one-way ride entails.
Are you interested in joining us…let us know?! You could ride all the way, or more or less, depending on how you feel that day. The round trip approach to the ride makes this very flexible. After the ride, we will have lunch at the local brewpub….very good food and beer!!
A couple of us are going to drive to Susanville on Friday night and stay there (to be determined), then drive back to Redding after the ride.
